Hunter is a native of New Martinsville, West Virginia. He is a graduate of the West Virginia School of Preaching, in Moundsville, WV. Hunter has circuit preached for numerous churches in the Wetzel County area. He is currently the associate minister for the Oakwood Road Church of Christ.
